Yukisaki-Sushi & Grill in Wuppertal

It is an absolute catastrophe there. Hygiene = 0. An older waiter goes out for a smoke every 20 minutes, doesn't wash his hands and then distributes the food. I could also watch him scratch his buttocks in the kitchen. I still have herpes so far.

We were there on recommendation and unfortunately we were very disappointed! Worst sushi in all of Wuppertal. Mainly frozen products, the sushi is NOT FRESH, it lies ready for hours on the counter, the tuna is wobbly and gray, the soups are tasteless and the octopus balls are drowned in fat. Service was quick and quite friendly.

Delicious, fast and friendly service, "all you can eat" is no problem even if you are really hungry. We'd love to come back when we're in town.

The management of the restaurant have to give a proper training to their staff regarding how to deliver essential information to their guests. Tablet or Menu??? Whoever understand that the meaning was all you can eat or à la Carte. Most people will get it like : "Oh, cool I can use a modern tablet to order instead of normal menu." Especially when the guest has never been there before!!! Sorry is sometimes not enough!

Once and never again! It's hard to believe, but it really was: We weren't told beforehand that you can choose between "All you can eat" and "A la carte". "All you can eat" was not mentioned anywhere. The question "tablet or menu" is not enough! So, of course, you get frightened later with the billing. This circumstance can still be tolerated if the food was at least good for it. Unfortunately, various dishes (apart from the sushi) are simply warmed up and some of them end up frozen on the plate (that's not possible). Compared to numerous other Suhi restaurants or even some supermarket sushi bars (EatHappy), the food is not worth the money in my opinion. The taste and quality are insufficient in my opinion.

We had ordered a table for 6pm on Saturday. We were greeted warmly and were able to choose a table, as only two other tables were occupied. So far so good, but then nothing happened at first. After the numerous staff ignored us for about 10 minutes, a nice lady finally came and greeted us again in a friendly manner. She asked if we wanted to eat “All you can eat” and I explained to her that my husband would be happy to take this offer, but that I am not allowed to eat raw fish myself because of my pregnancy (and to be honest, I don't even like fish!) And therefore I should just pick something small from the menu. Since we had apparently made the calculation without the nice lady! She explained to us that either everyone at the table eats “all you can eat” or everyone has to order from the menu! I explained again that my husband is here because of the buffet, but I am (obviously) not allowed to eat it and therefore you don't have to be afraid that I will "secretly" help myself from my husband. But she didn't care! The brief answer we got was that your boss would decide that and that I could only order items without fish from the menu at the buffet price! I don't think I have to mention that the selection was really ridiculously small for me and therefore didn't even begin to justify the buffet price! The hint on my part that there is no reference to this rule on their homepage was simply ignored. With that the discussion seemed to be over for the lady, because she left our table without any concession and let us sit there! We then left the restaurant and will certainly not come back again!

I went to eat there with my wife yesterday and can't share the positive reviews! Service was very friendly. But I can't share the food or the taste with the other reviews. Try it once ok, but I will not eat there again!

Very good restaurant, can only be recommended. The small plates are always nicely arranged and the food is fresh and tasty. Every course is an eye-catcher. The selection is also very large, even at lunch. Didn't make it to the last lap, so everyone gets their money's worth! Always nice to invite visitors there. I can only recommend it.

Großartige All you can eat sushi

Very tasty and absolutely recommendable. Here you get not only sushi but also other delicious (warm) specialties. Ordering on a tablet simplifies things. You just have to be careful not to order too much. The eyes are big with the many choices, but the stomach is small.

It was my second time there and again I was thrilled with the quality. The staff was very friendly and attentive without being pushy. Would love to come back!

We have reserved a table for 6pm, with a reference to a place in the corner since we will take our dog with us. We were assured that that would not be a problem. Arrived, there was not really a reservation. We were escorted to an "acceptable place", which I guess the owner added and spoke to his colleague in his language that it was not possible with the dog and they wanted us in load the far corner, which was more of a storage room. So we left the shop and went somewhere else. Even without a dog, we will definitely not visit the restaurant anymore.

Simply the best sushi restaurant. We've been going here for ages. I don't want to try another one anymore. My greatest respect for the whole team. People go here. Super 👍👍👍👍

Can’t recommend. After reopening (due to corona) very disappointing and not as it used to be. Quality of the food has suffered a lot. There is hardly any fish in the sushi. The menu has been reduced to the basics and offers nothing special anymore. But the same high price for 24,90€. Waiting time was so extremely long that you get fed up from waiting. During the waiting time you could watch the waitress giving change to the customer with the same medical gloves she was cleaning the iPad and preparing sushi rolls with. Made me loose my appetite.

Was there a few times now, was always very tasty. Food and drinks were always there quickly and fresh. A little more expensive in price, but in my opinion it's worth the money.

The food was very tasty. It was quite full and we were served quickly anyway. Placing orders with a tablet is not only fun, it also makes sense because you can put together your favorite sushi in peace. The only point of criticism: we were sitting upstairs and in the corner it was quite dark and we didn't hear any of the background music.

We (around 35 people) were divided by the restaurant in groups on diffrent tables based on what we were ordering i.e. a Menu/Buffet/Single Sushi pieces ... They really don't have proper organisation for big groups

Very good ambiance

The restaurant is on two floors, spacious and clean. We used the lunch buffet on Saturday. I imagined that all the food dishes were laid. I could order 14 dishes at once through Samsung Tablet, and when I complete the order, I made a system to make it. I can not waste it, I do not think there will be any food left. I felt. It is more delicious because I make it right. I wanted to eat Korean food in Europe for two months, especially Kimchi, and it was delicious because it was similar to fresh and cool taste. Fried banana for dessert. I ate a fruit salad and it was delicious. It is so grateful to have such a restaurant in Wuppertal, a little far away from the center of Germany. I want to come back before I leave.

Super delicious sushi and very friendly stuff. If you want to eat good sushi for a very good all you can eat price you should go here. They recently changed their opening times and we didn't know when we went and thought we still had some time to eat some more. But the nice owner gave us a coupon for next time after informing us of the new opening hours.

I had given it 5 stars previously, but I'm sorry ... it's gone really short. Too much rice in the sushi, unfriendly staff, lukewarm and not hot dishes .. too bad, it had started really well! (The photos were taken upon opening, so they don't quite match my current review)

High tech ordering via tab, good food

We really enjoyed our visit here, the buffet is very good and varied, the ordering process works brilliantly and at the same time great fun! We will be visiting often.
